“Annadata – Citizens Movement for Safe Food”
“Annadata – Citizens Movement for Safe Food” is a citizen-driven, expert- guided,
voluntary movement formed with a mission is to create Awareness about Safe food
and make it available to all. ‘Anna’ – means food which needs to be safe, nourishing
and healthy.‘Data’- means the giver whose intention and practices need to be pure;
like producing nourishing food that is safe for entire Bio-diversity.
(Water, Air, soil, Micro-organisms).
Launch of the Movement
Annadata Organic Food Festival; arranged at the Bhimthadi Jatra – Pune between 22 and 25 December 2017 was the launch event of the Annadata-Citizen’s Movement for Safe Food. The event brought together over 350 Farmers (via 45 groups) and 20 suppliers in Pune and reached to over 3.5 Lacs consumers
